Good luck to the ladies testing today

I got some surprising news from my FS yesterday. Because I recovered so quickly from the OHSS he's agreed for me to do a FET this cycle. I'm doing a HRT protocol and started meds today. It's a sneaky cycle as we aren't telling anyone. Transfer will be late September. I'm still in shock as we were expecting to have to sit out this cycle and rest.

Infertileparent, sucks you had to go through OHSS, but nice to hear theres still light at the end of the tunnel for you!
Had my scan today, 11 follicles, is that about average??? I assume that does not necessarily mean they will get 11 eggs, is that right????

Thanks Fruitbowl, but my EPU has been pushed back til tomorrow morning. 8.40am... They wanted to give my slow responding eggs a little more time.

Good Luck with your ET tomorrow - we'll be passing each other in the hallway again. Xx

Thanks Chances! I think we are on a similar cycle. I've seen some of your other posts occasionally

Found out that from our 8 eggs 2 were immature and 5 fertilized!

I'm pretty happy. Four was my lucky fertilize number - 2 for transfer and 2 for freezing. So now just crossing our fingers that those 5 develop into nice little blasty's!

    ET Monday.

    Good luck everyone!

    S

infertileparent - so good you get to do your FET straight away - hope it brings you your BFP!

    Goldie77 - 11 follies - that's awesome - good luck for Monday!

FruitBowl - will be thinking of you tomorrow as well - hope your little embie is nice and strong and burrows in for the long haul!

stc76 - good luck for EPU tomorrow!

PrincessPud - 5 embies - that's great - hope you have some lovely blasties to put back/freeze on Monday.

chances - are you still finding the jabbing a breeze?
I think we could all use a sprinkle of - good luck to everyone wherever you are in (or out of) your cycle.
