Default Anti diahrrea tablets and pregnancy?

Has anyone taken similar tablets to gastro stop while pregnant? I take these when I have bad days with my IBS. I just read that you shouldn't take these while pregnant. Now I'm freaking out because I took one this morning.

I took them occasionally throuough, didn't cause any problems with DS. However best discuss it with your GP first, it's one of those things that there's no real evidence that it causes problems, but no proof that it doesn't.

Try not to freak out that you took one, I'm sure everything will be fine. I didn't know I was PG for 19 weeks and had been taking them frequently up to that point (I'd also been drinking every weekend too!!)

I found my IBS-D only flared up in early pregnancy when I was anxious. Now I'm 23 weeks and more constipated. I have had IBS-D a few times since entering second trimester. Can't really do anything to control it is what I've been told but I've found it's not as bad. More backed up than anything else!!! Good luck.
