    Default beeping smoke alarm

We have had a constant beeping from our smoke alarm since Friday and the technician cannot come out until monday. Do you think it will effect my babys hearing? Or am I just being paranoid? Its a beep every minute.. Its driving me nuts!!

Is it a fixed one that you can't take the battery out of? I'm sure your baby will be fine, but it would drive me crazy.
