Suggestions for flowers that grow in shade

We have a medium garden here that nothing will grow in because it doesn't get any sun. Not sure why the landlord built it there to begin with...
Anyway we'd love to put some plants in there. We already have a vegie/herb garden so I'd love some flowers.

Anyone have any suggestions on some pretty smelling flowers that don't need a lot(or any) sun?

Camellias do ok in shade and so do hellebores (winter roses - not particularly colourful but quite beautiful).

Neither of which are fragrant though.

Some ground cover roses will grow in shade but won't flower much.

A great idea is to go to your local gardening shop or bunnings (or similar) and check out their indoor plant range....
Although they are going to be outdoor, if there is full shade they will do fine.

There are a few flowering plant options, but I think the best things to go for are lush green fern type plants as they just excel and don't require much work.
