Forgetting oral contraceptive in an Egg Donor cycle

Dear All,

Has anyone out there forgotten to take their OCP during a donor cycle?

I usually have my pill at 6 a.m and got distracted and didn't take it until 3:30 p.m.

I feel extremely foolish and angry with myself for potentially stuffing up my pending cycle.

My husband rang our Australian specialist who reassured all should be well.

That said we have invested so much emotionally and financially in this cycle and I hope and pray I haven't damaged our chances.

I am really worried that I may have messed up my hormones and hoping that I don't ovulate.

Any advice good, bad or indifferent would be appreciated.

not sure if you are a donor or a recipient but as a donor i always skipped the pill section before starting the nasal spray and injections. For me it made no difference but i wouldnt think that by you taking it later than usual would be anything to panic about - im sure its all fine.
