Hubby and I did a bush walk this morning with some friends. Online it said it'd be about 5.5km and take around 4 hours. It was actually much further, about 8km, but we did it in about 3 hours. The last kilometer or so was stairs that went on forever. I had to keep stopping to rest every 10 or so steps, my legs were jelly and I was puffing like crazy. I drank about 500ml during the whole walk. Once we got to the end, I sat down for about 20 minutes and ate some fruit and lollies and felt good (but obviously tired!). Now a few hours later, no cramping or bleeding, but I'm just a bit worried that I over did it. It was so much tougher than I expected but I had no choice but to keep going to get out! Just wondering if anyone else has overdone it while exercising and whether they faced any complications as a result?
Oh and I'm 11 weeks today :-)
