I have had two m/c's. My first was at 6-7 weeks.

It started with heavy bleeding and bad period like pain that got worse and felt like mini contractions (bad cramping). It was very uncomfortable. It all lasted for about 7 hours. Then I passed 2 large clots. One all red and the other was a greyish, sort of skin tone colour that was rippled with red stuff attatched. Both clots were about the size of a golf ball. I then bled for about 10 days (heavy for the first few days) I am someone who only has light preiods lasting 2-3 days at the most.

    Sending lots of hugs

My first loss was at 5 weeks. It went from spotting to very heavy bleeding with lots of clotting within about 12 hours. The bleeding lasted 10-12 days.

If you haven't started bleeding more heavily in a few days I would see a dr, as like I said in your other thread, this may end up a missed m/c.

    How are you coping emotionally?

My earlier m/c started out as lots of period pain type cramps and then bleeding, the bleeding was quite heavy and i passed bits of tissue and clots. I can't remember exactly how long it lasted but i'd guess it was around 7 days and the first couple days were very painful and heavy bleeding.

    I'm sorry for your loss

Most women go on to have viable pgs after m/c although after 2 non viable pg myself I do totally understand your concerns. I feel the same way.

I have been reading about mc and a lot of people mention the 'day' of their mc. I have had bleeding, clots and mild cramps for 6 days now and nothing stands out as the 'day'

My third miscarriage lasted two weeks before the OB had to remove the last of the tissue from my cervix opening as it was stuck (sorry if tmi). I had the cramping, the bleeding and clots leading up to the final bit in the OB office.

It might be worth you going to see your GP/OB for them to check things out.

Have you been checked out at all? I strongly suggest you go get checked out, if you haven't already.
