    Default Unsettled after 4mth needles

Ds just had his 4mth needles on Friday and today he is so unsettled screaming and winging so much he seems to be losing his voice!
He won't sleep ..more than usual that is he doesn't sleep much usually.
He screams high pitch with his broken voice of i put him down.
Is this normal? How long will this last i think he will end up sleeping next to me tonight...

I always give my kids panadol after ... They can have little reactions after ... If it continesafter maybe 48 hrs I would start to be concerned.

In the meantime there is that nurse on call number for peace of mind; did they give you that info sheet that has the things to look out for?

The 4 month needles are the only one my DS had a problem with. High temp and very grizzly. Bit of panadol and cuddles helped. Thankfully he took the 6 month old ones a lot better.

My DD2 had her 4mo needles on Friday too and we've had a shocking weekend with her day sleeps, she's only had one 20 min nap each day she's sleep like a beaut at night though. Last night she slept for 14 hours (woke for two feeds tho).

She's been really grizzly and wants to be held all the time while she's awake too poor bubba, not a fun weekend at all!

Hope it passes soon, for your bub too xx

    Hate needle time!
