Default Baby carrier for the airport

Which carrier would you recommend for a 6 month old (approx 7kg)? Will mainly be using it at airports as we can't take our double stroller to the gate.
I have tried the Hug a Bub, Mamas and Papas and Bjorn (original) but find that they are all uncomfortable and put too much pressure on my back.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

Just warning you most airports make you take it off when you go through security. Very annoying! I use a baby bjorn but I'm big and so is my bubba. Guess it depends on your build a bit.

    Ergo
We travel to qld at least once a year and have used it in airports and sightseeing with our 3 children from a few months old to 2 and a bit years old.
I have a bit of a dodgy back and I comfortably carried my 13kg dd for up to 4 hours at a time before I started to get uncomfortable.

I even carried my then 3 yr old (11kg) on a fun run/walk for 4kms while pushing my 9 month old in the pram.

    Can't recommend it highly enough.

Ergo or Manduca. I find either much more supportive than the Bjorn and personally, because I'm crappy at wrapping, easier and quicker than my Hug a bub or my woven which is good because most places make you take them out to go through security.

I've also heard good things about the Beco.
