Default Was it a joint decision?

For those hubbers who have switched from BF to FF. Was it a joint decision between you and your partner or did you make the executive decision??

I made the decision but DH was 110% supportive of it, how I did it, when I did it, and helped as much as he could - so you could say it was a 'joint' decision I just chose when I was ready!

Joint decision. We spoke at length before bubs about breast feeding as I had a tough experience last time. My bub was 9 days old & we were still in hospital when we switched to ff due to severe pain, drop in supply & how I was feeling at the time. Bub is now 3 weeks old & no regrets. Ultimately though I would have made the decision on my own if required. Whilst I think it's great the partner is interested I feel it's ultimately the decision of the female breast feeding.

FF alone, my body, my choice. If my DP ever wants to breastfeed he can grow some boobs and do it himself lol

Both times, me. With DD, when I said I was switching to formula he had a go at me saying basically I was being lazy. I went into full meltdown mode, telling him how crushed I was and how dare he say such things. He never said another word lol

with DS he saw how hard I tried, I pumped for months, offering the breast first, I saw the ABA 3 or 4 times. When I said I could no longer pump, and look after a reflux bub and a tot he said fine and supported me.

Our DS was two weeks old & was not putting on weight, I was stressed because I wanted to feed him I tried to express & that still didnt help DP hated seeing me stressed & seeing DS not put on any weight, he also hated that he couldn't help with feeds, so health nurse said it was time for Formula, it took me awhile to get uset to the idea that it wasn't me feeding him but once I saw the change in DS & DP being able to feed him I was happy & didn't look back. I guess it was more DP & health nurse that decided.

After reading everyone's reasons for switching I'm kinda starting to feel selfish and lazy -_-

You don't need a specific reason to switch. Do what you feel comfortable doing and what is best for you and your baby.
