Swan Districts or King Edward Memorial - What are everyones thoughts?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has been to either of these 2 hospitals and if so how was it?
As i live in Beechboro the closest hospital is Swan Districts but i am not sure. My DS was born at SJOG Subi and I had my own OB Gyn etc almost 6 yrs ago but at that stage i had Private Health. This time i don't (besides it cost soo much and i was in debt for ages after...)
Any help or thoughts would be great.

Unless your high risk or you go to the birth centre you may not find that kemh will not accept you if you are out of there catchment area. You may have more luck getting into jhc or Osborne park even tho you are outside the catchment. Good luck

There is another thread floating around about swan vs joondalup hospital, I strongly suggest looking it up. I would never step foot in swan again for anything birth related :thumbdown:
