    Default Sex in early pregnancy

Just wondering if sex in early pregnancy is ok ?

I'm 4w1d, I have a history of mc and am so nervous about this pregnancy progressing well.

I haven't had any bleeding or anything so would having s3x with dp be ok ?

It's fine but if you feel nervous about it your probably wont enjoy it so it might be better to wait rather than worrying. hugs xo In some situtions doctors do recommend holding back.

Sex should be fine, I was told by my gp its fine. I was on honeymoon til 12 weeks so definitely did a lot of that! And I'm now 27 weeks and bub is fine. If you're worried maybe be careful? I can understand that you're worried due to your past experience of mc

I'd hold off till ur first appointment to be safe. If u had s3x and IF anything happened, u'd blame yourself (even if it's not ur fault). I'm sure it's perfectly fine, but better safe than sorry. I'm coming from a background of previous losses too, my last pregnancy (with my now 22 month old) I was asked to refrain from sex the first trimester. This pregnancy, I was told no sex first tri, upgraded to total pelvic rest when they found a hematoma at 6 weeks.

I'm just very paranoid, a successful pregnancy is the most important thing to me, so givin it up for a while wasn't too much I don't think.

Usually it's fine, but if you have a history of mc you might want to check with your doctor just to be sure.
