DP has always dated girls with dark, slightly wavy hair. Including me. He likes it short but i prefer it long. He's recently decided he likes me with red hair, which I've had for a few years. I was a bit sick of it but I'd only go back to some shade of brown which I'd get sick of quicker so I'm happy to stay a redhead.

My partner doesn't like red hair... Mine is brown at the moment with red highlights in the sun and copper highlights throughout... He hasn't complained! He doesn't really care though he is pretty good like that!

Mine is really long and my natural colour - dark blonde in winter, blonde in summer.

I'm not sure DP even notices, he never notices if I have a haircut although I don't have anything overly different done to it.

DP knows nothing of women's fashion and that's one thing I like about him.

If it's the hair you want, do it

I am under strict instruction to never dye my hair blonde, but if I feel the need to, I will do it anyway

I have long dark blonde hair. Naturally it's a ball of frizz - I straighten it. DP doesn't mind either way, she always asks me if she can shave my hair off and I say sure, as long as I can bite her nose off. So far, still have hair!
