    Default Anterior placenta

For anyone who has had an anterior placenta, did you end up feeling much movement at all towards the end of the pregnancy? This is my 3rd pregnancy and first one with anterior placenta.. i'm used to movement - well lots of it anyway. lol. i feel strange without it, like im not pregnant almost, apart from my belly.

I had an anterior and low lying placenta, I didn't get much movement but DS was also breech. Not sure if that also alters foetal movements too.

I had an anterior placenta with DS2. I didn't feel movement for a while and it wasn't as strong as with my first pregnancy, until I hit the 3rd tri. At that point the movements were just as prominent.

I'm the same as Witwicky, I felt movements later and not as strong, but by the end they felt the same as my previous pregnancies.

As mentioned above, not much early on but from half way through it dramatically increased. First pregnancy though so wouldn't know how it compares, anterior is all I know.

i too have an anterior placenta. It's my first bubs so I have nothing to compare it with. At about 18 weeks I started feeling really light movements. I wasn't completely sure until we had the morphology scan at 19 weeks and he moved during it and I could tell. It has gotten stronger since then but is still not real strong. Definately increased in the number of movements though. Hubby started feeling bubs from about 22 weeks. Only when I'm lying down though.

Hope you feel some movements soon.

My second preg was with anterior placenta and I didn't notice any difference at all to my first. Lots of movement from 17wks all the way thru. Wouldn't have known anything was different unless they told me!

I didn't feel movement until about 24 weeks, but after that they were big and strong.
