    They are a bit more expensive but you can get a rear facing seat for up to 25kgs in the UK, some are also ISOFIX.

    Not to hijack but where does a 25kg toddler put their legs when they are rear facing ? Just out of couriosity as my 16 kg dd wouldn't fit and I changed her to forward facing when she was one.....

    Check out google images, there are loads of pics of toddlers in rear facing seats, legs go up/to the side etc... although they are not straight there is plenty of room.

    It sure doesn't look very comfortable for long drives I asked dd is she would sit that way and her legs were literally around her eyes..... Lol
