Do you have a police citizens youth club or similar? In Brisbane, they offer casual classes for various ages, including kinder gym type stuff, and dancing.

My son does an optional sports program through daycare (young sports) and he's been enjoying that. they do soccer, tennis and different sports. I think they run classes outside of daycare as well.

Hey just contact your local pcyc and see what classes they offer. They all run different things at different times but they have a great variety.

Yes little athletics starts from 5.

    http://www.pcyc.org.au/branches/index.php

That's a list of the Brisbane branches. You can click on the individual ones, and they should have a time table on their website. the one I've been to, you pay an annual fee for your child (I think it was about $20) and then you just pay per class, so it's flexible.
