Default What foods have you tried your seven month old on?

Hi all , just wondering what you have tried your bubs on food wise and how did they take it. Does anyone know what age I could start weetbix? Im guessing a little while off yet.

My 7 month old DD eats EVERYTHING! Seriously. She just eats what we eat. She loves corn on the cob at the moment.

Today she's had scrambled eggs, a little bit of toast, yoghurt, roast chicken, honeydew melon, rock melon, orange, corn, spinach and feta muffin, steak, dolmade, watermelon, broccoli, peach, pickle, sweet potato and penne pasta with pesto.

She eats a lot of food!!!

Weetbix have some salt and sugar in them, so you'd need to consider that. Plus I think it tastes like cardboard! :P

DS has allergies and we had to eliminate everything from his diet as we weren't sure what it was.. Didn't exactly follow the four day rule to start with.. .. He has Neocate which is a formula which provides him everything he needs and we have just reintroduced pumpkin, sweet potato, apples and bananas. Not all at once of course because he went back we have had to start on puréed food again.. Now up to mash! Going I try some normal potato with sweet potato tomorrow. Exciting times. Haha.

    Mainly mashed up veggies and fruit separately and mixed together;
    brocoli
    carrot
    pumpkin
    sweet potato
    zucchini
    apple
    pear
    banana

It might be time to start broadening things a bit though and giving chicken a crack...

My DS is very conservative He sticks to his favourites (sweet potato, potato, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli, spinach,... apple, pear, avocado, beef, salmon, egg yolk, rice crackers, farex cereal, bellamy porridge, bread, rice). He refused some foods at first but ate them on second or third trial (yoghurt, cucumber, chicken, banana). He hates capsicum and doesn't like water melon or rock melon.

Sweet potato, pear, apple, pumpkin, banana, avocado, strawberries, that's it so far. My DS is only 6 months though, so still on purée.

My DS is nearly 11mths now, but at 7mths was eating everything listed above. He especially loved chicken, salmon, watermelon, rockmelon.

Weetbix are fine from 6mths - just buy the kids one that has less salt. I mix mine with banana and DS loves them.

Default What foods have you tried your seven month old on?

My DD is 6.5 months and has been in puréed food for 2 months now.

How can I make food that has small lumps in it? What is the best way? I normally just use a hand blender thing.
And how do u blend meat? Like chicken? I am sooo confused!!
