    Default Normal preg, scan question

So I am Having a normal pregnancy and was wondering I don't want an NT scan but was wondering if anybody has had a 12week scan just to have a look? I did it with DS and would like to do it again but is that being silly?

    Not being silly at all.

With ds I did the nt scan but didn't get the blood test done - hence I had to pay for it but I didn't care...

2nd time around I didn't get it done at all. I wish I had. We lost our baby in the 13th week and I wish I'd had that scan and seen her kicking around. (She was still alive then)

It is unlikely that what happened to me will happen to you, but the point I am trying to make is do it. It's not silly t all, it's normal to want reassurance your baby is healthy in there

    Good luck

Not silly at all, I didn't realize you could have had the scan without getting the blood taken otherwise I would have considered that, waiting for those results was stressful and I had decided I didn't want any further testing anyway

You can - but it's not covered by Medicare.
