Default Help please - need to know what to write for colleague who has had a stillbirth

Can someone please give me an idea of what I can write in a card for a worker and his wife who have just delivered their beautiful angel at term?

I find that "your angel is watching you from heaven" type comments always seem a bit trite.
Someone that's lost their baby doesn't care where they are, they care where they're NOT. At least that's my feeling.

If it were me, I would stick with a simple "My heart breaks for your loss. You know where I am if you need anything". That way they know you feel for them, and even if they don't want it they have your support.

    I agree completely.
Let them know that you know they're hurting.
Acknowledging their little baby existed is the best thing you can do.

Yes if the angel had a name-use it, just acknowledging that the angel existed and was real as well as acknowledging their loss and offering time (here for you if you need, etc) should be okay
