Wow... Sometimes I think we tend to over-think things a little. Everything in context I say.
"you're a great mother" isn't offensive, but said sarcastically it is. Just like referring to formula as artificial milk isn't necessarily offensive but coming out of the mouth of your MIL asking 'are you still giving him that artificial milk' could be.

My DD really enjoyed her artificial toasted bread this morning. I think the butter may have had ingredients added/ treatments used that wouldn't be there in its pure state. So she might have even eaten artificial butter on her artificial bread.

And don't even get me started on my artificial coffee...

It is an artifical birth. Once again. It is what it is. AND I have had to unwanted c-sections

I might make some artificial tea soon, by making expert use of my artificial heating device.

You know, thinking about it, artificial milk is a stupid phrase anyway. It's not milk. It's formula. So you may as well call it artificial unicorn dust. Because it's not real unicorn dust, that's for sure.

And I had a c-section, but I don't think DD was artificially born. I'm pretty sure that she was actually born.

Because the leaves from the tea plant are treated and mixed with other substances to form a teabag, and even the milk from the cow is not in its 'pure' just come from cow state.

but its not artifical - its processed? its the ORGINAL product processed.

its processed cows milk, processed tea bags.

    processed sugar OR artifical sugar.

Artifical sugar is NOT processed sugar its something that is produced to replicate processed sugar (no idea what its made from).

Formula is artifical breast milk; produced to replicate breast milk. (from what I have read on here it seems to be processed cows milk of some sort)
