Hi All, if you experience any constipation issues feeding AR (anti reflux) formulas, try 5-10mls prune juice in the bottle. It saved our sanity after our specialist paed suggested it. We used Karicare Aptamil AR and didn't want to change formulas (again), and the blessed relief of the prune juice is amazing. It is natural, non chemical, and you can up the dose or give it neat in a syringe between bottles, and it WORKS! Bub's love it, as it is sweet. Also add 10% extra water to your AR formula when you kmake up the bottle.

Good luck with all your little bubbies!

    Hey lou

    Hows your bub going?

Our Dr Brown bottles arrived the other day and weve seen a huge inprovement in her wind issues. Unfortunately, shes had a snotty nose these last few days so its hard to tell if her sleepig situation is going to be improved with the new bottles. But she definitely doesnt get as much wind pain, is more relaxed when she feeds etc so worth the expense so far

Hi pilbarablossom, good luck with the new bottles ~ hope they make a big difference. Our bub suffered reflux due to being premmie, and we found Medela Calma teats and bottles worked really well for us. The right bottle and teat can make such a huge difference!

I did start popping jasper down for a few minutes from 6 weeks to see what would happen and sometimes he'd fall asleep himself but as a toddler he decided he wants me to stay until he's asleep.

Katelyn I've tried popping her down but she just cries.

I am with u on this one...my theory is hold your little ones for as long as possible coz one day they won't want your cuddles any more.

    Hi Pilbara,

That must be a relief, good to hear as well well apart from the snotty nose, poor bub.
Well I had a doctor app fri and she just screamed the place down (which in some ways I thought was good so she could see what she was like) and sje recommended infacol before feeds and changing to nan formula which were slowly doing and for the reflux gaviscon infant into her bottles. So fingers crossed, I think special bottles will be next.

We changed to nan HA and she seems so much more settled. She must be able to digest it easier. I read its the closest to breastmilk?

At least youve got a plan now. Fingers crossed xxx
