I think she has some sort of colic or reflux. I have to put her slightly on her side in the secure sleep positioner thing coz when she strains to fart/poo she tends to spit up. Weve had better nights the last two nights - not good but better. Were trying a new formula to see if that helps at all. Its just trial & error. Itsa good thing ive got the olympics to watch!!

Lol poor bub, I've got exactly the same issue. We bought the novalac colic formula and Do gripe water through the day and the difference during the day is amazing. I thought ok let's try another formula thats a little cheaper, tried the organic bellamys and the screaming was insane and she wouldn't drink it so Sunday night at 630 I'm ringing around Ti any chemist that's open to see if they have the colic formula, an hour drive later and all our problems solved! It's a big expensive case of trial and error but when u find one that works, don't change I read that you were trying the dr browns bottles, please let me know how you go with that.

Yep they should arrive tomorrow. Nowhere up here sells them. Theyre not cheap either but im willing to try anything. I'll definitely let you know how tey go. Ive heard alot of good reviews so fingers crossed. She sleeps perfectly when upright on my chest but obviously this cant happen 24/7 otherwise id never sleep. We tried the karicare aptimal AR for regurg/reflux. The thickness helped her control her swallowing but it made her really constipated. Were onto nan HA as of yesterday afternoon and apart from a couple of spit ups shes been ok. Were so limited by whats available up here, its very frustrating living in a country town at times!

Hi sorry to butt in on your conversation pillars and lou89 but my baby has been shocking at naps lately so I had a sleep nanny come in to have a look at him and she said he's got wind and reflux so his cot is now elevated at an angle. I use brauers colic relief but what you said about using gripe water through the day caught my eye, Lou. Can you tell me what's the difference between a colic relief formula and gripe water and what you mean by using it through the day. Do you give a dose at every feed?

I always have a bottle with 3/4 water 1/4 gripe water made up and give her that throughout the day to bring up extra wind. When she's grizzly and she's been fed, clean nappy etc and I don't know what else is wrong I give her a bit of the water to get some burps.
