    Hi everyone

I am off the Pill last month and should be due for my period yesterday/Today

Its not here yet...has anyone else had experience with this?

My friend didnt have a proper period for months and then found out she had PCOS

I came off the pill last november...didnt have a period till june and since then nothing but spotting once in july... Its a long annoying road and i just keep getting told to be patient. Some bodies just take longer to adjust i guess.

I came of the start of June and got my period this morning. For the first time ever I was so happy to see it but it didn't last long haha now I remember why I love the pill so much, I had forgotten how heavy and painful it is! I went to the doctor the other day just for a check up and just to confirm that it was normal for it to take a while (got up to day 50) and she said she is not worried, it's probably my brain still thinking I am on the pill. She said if it didn't come in about 6 months that I should go back, so I would say it's pretty normal

I seem to be in the same boat as a lot of the posts I have read...

I took my last pill on the 29th April and had the usual withdrawal period in early May, but since then nothing. I did have a dark colour discharge that lasted for about five days in early July...which I hoped may have been some sort of a period. I made sure me and my partner "tried" every second night for the month that followed...but after a HPT came up neg last Friday I am dissappointed (as can be expected).

I know it's only been three months, but with no periods I suppose I am not ovulating and hence should just wait until a cycle develops to be able to start trying for real.

I would like to go and see a doctor to see if they can do a blood test to check if everything seems okay...but I just worry they'll just tell me to "be patient" and come back when it's been 6months or something.

I am also thinking about starting Vitex to try and balance the hormones and encourage my cycle.

Yeah I was thinking of trying the doc...might call tomoz and see if I can get an app...worth a go. If I start taking Vitex before I get an app do you think that would effect the test?

I am definitely gonna try OPK's when I do get a cycle back...so I know when the best time to do the BD is!

Ended up taking a hpt before starting Vitex yesterday and ended up with a BFP...went to the docs and got the blood test results today...BFP too...so YAY!

Ultrasound in the next few weeks to give me a better idea of dating - as with my non-existent cycle it's a bit hard to give me a good date, but 442 IU/L HCG...so approx 4-5 weeks.
