    Default How would you feel?

How would you feel about a childcare worker who keep in mind has no criminal record, but has had all four of her children taken off her and placed in permanent foster care?

Would this bother you enough to pull your children out of her family daycare facility?

The reasons for her children being taken are unknown.

Yes I would pull them out. I have worked in child protection though so this may cloud my judgement

Unless there was a way of finding out why her children have been placed in permanent foster care, I wouldn't feel right leaving my children in her care.

If you feel as though your children are safe and being well looked after then it's probably ok. Are you able to speak to the scheme she works for, maybe they can shed some light on the situation.

I'm a family day carer so maybe I'm being a bit judgmental here but is not an easy job to do, it can be very stressful and exhausting. I can't help but think why do most people get there children taken off them, if you can't care for your own children due to whatever reason it is why/how can you look after other peoples children.

If she was working in a child care centre it would be a bit different as she would have people watching her all the time, as every carer does. You don't get that in family day care, I have a visit once a month from my scheme.

yes! it would bother me, there is no way i would leav my child in the care of someone who has had theirs taken off of them. IMO it would be bad parenting to leave my child in her care. ( not saying your a bad parent)
