Default Last day on the pill!

    Hi TTCers,

I am very excited that it is my last day on the pill... we are going to TTC in October as I'd like to have a couple of months to see how my body goes getting back "into the swing of things". I have seen my GP and everything is functioning well and all my levels are normal so we are ready TTC.

I am hoping for a smooth transition and looking forward to having my body back. I'm so excited to TTC I don't know how i'll be able to last until October but I know mother nature can take it's time.

Was wondering how you felt after coming off the pill? did it take you long to conceive? Any advice, stories would be great!

    xx

Hello! We are going to start TTC in 5 wks, I came off BC in June and got first AF on Saturday so 31 day cycle. So far my only symptoms from coming off BC after 10 years was tender boobs, cramping and moodiness, I'm hoping my next cycle is just as regular. Good luck, it is very exciting easy to swap the pill for daily pregnancy vitamins too!

Hi, I came off bcp in march. My cycles have ranged from 24-28 days, but seem to have settled into 24 days now. I was very emotional, moody, and felt yuck after stopping the pill. It took about3 months to feel normal again. So far 4 months off the pill and still ttc. Good luck

Hi, and how exciting. I came off the pill on 17 December 2010 and got my BFP on 17 March 2011.

I felt fantastic coming off the pill, I lost a couple of kilos, libido increased, it was great. My cycle before going on the pill was 29 days and it only took me one cycle to get back to that.

Good luck, I hope your TTC journey is a short one!
