    I want to know too
I have a appointment in two weeks, to set a date to have my tubes tied through the public system but I would much rather he did it.

Yes, I think it's much simpler for them to have it done? I am honestly done having bubbies but I cannot bear the idea of taking hormonal contraceptive or anything.

Yes vasectomies can be done publicly, it is wait. Most Urologists can do it as a day procedure, usually about 20 min for the procedure with a local anaesthetic. Ring around a few urologists and they can tell you how much or how long there wait list is.

For the girls it's a much longer recovery having a laparoscopic tubal ligation. I got mine done when I had my last CS so it wasn't do bad. So yes maybe it's time for boys!!!

A family member had one done. It was a few hundred dollars from memory. It was performed with local anesthetic at the doctor's surgery. Took only a few minutes. He was sore for a few days and used ice packs on and off the first 24-48 hours as well as panadol. Had it done on a Friday, back at work on Monday
