Question Pregnant and new job next year

I have just found out that I am about 4 weeks pregnant. I went off birth control in May. My husband and I were at the stage where we said: "if it happens, it happens", otherwise we'll start counting days and all that next year. Well, to my surprise, it happened A LOT earlier than expected.

I got a teaching job at a new school in June, but I start next year for the new school year. When do I tell the principal? I can't help but feel very guilty that they hired me and I'll only be there for a month before I have to leave again.

I know that legally, I'm in a safe position because I won't lose my job, but I'm scared that the teaching staff and new principal will look down on me.

Has anyone else been in a similar position?

Don't feel guilty, you're having a baby! That's excellent news, and not something people will look down on you for. Just tell the principal when you feel ready, and take it day by day from there.

Sorry no other advice, just wanted to say congrats!!
