Hi Ladies!!!! I would love to join this forum! I am 27 and my husband and I got married this June and we are currently TTC!!! I stopped taking BC the end of July and have been suffering from side effects, ugh! Mostly headaches, no appetite, dehydrated etc........, but on the upside the rest of me feels better almost like my BC(Marvelon) was making me not feel quite right and lack of energy, sad etc, anyone else having side effects from coming off birth control? I am hoping the side effects don't last long, and hope that i get my regular cycle back asap!

We are SO excited to try for a baby, until I figure out my cycle, we have been getting intimate every second day. Hoping I start ovulating soon, and that it doesn't take too long. I have done lots of reading and hope it doesn't take a year!

Hi McBaby, welcome. Good luck with your journey. I came off bc in May, after 10 years due to serious headaches, which have now stopped, allthough now Af is very irregular, I feel like a 16 year old have pimples everywhere ans put on some weight. But TTC is very exciting I have read that it can take awhile for our bodies to sort themselves out let's hope not to long.

Welcome McBaby! I've just come off the pill so haven't noticed any major side effects yet so I'm hoping it's not too bad.

    Good luck with TTC!

Hi mcbaby! Welcome to the thread. I am similar to you, 27 and married in march. I had been on BC for 10 yrs (levlen Ed) but didn't really have any side effects coming off except a little bit of weight gain.

AFM I am naughty and tested super early (8dpo) today and got a BFN as expected, due for AF next wk but don't even really feel like I have any symptoms at all except bloating and pimples. Usually I am complete cow the wk before lol. Wasn't disappointed at BFN as I expected it, but I dreamt last night I got a BFP so tested haha.

Well got to work & threw up still feeling nauseous as hell but I must hav a stomach bug coz it would b too early for symptoms. I wish there wasn't so many conflicting articles on the Internet, it's a wonderful place for info but so much confusion too. How's everyone's wk going?

    Welcome mcbaby!

Channy I'm sorry you are feeling unwell. It sounds too early to be symptoms but I guess there's always exceptions to the rule...
