Send them to a hospital or nursing home and make sure the sender finds out they were passed on!

Yeah I would pay it forward. I'm really weird about inanimate objects sometimes, I would probably feel sorry for the flowers, it's not their fault they got caught in the middle LOL. So i would send them somewhere they would be appreciated.

    Yeah, my whole family.
If I had of known it was from them I wouldn't have accepted, but I thought they were from the ILs.
    Blah.

    I definitely wouldn't keep them.
But I'd feel bad throwing out a perfectly good bunch of flowers that have done nothing wrong...
so I'd find a good home for them and give them to someone else, like my landlord, or the reception ladies at work, or my ILs...

Well, we WERE going to put them on a neighbours doorstep, as a pleasant surprise, but then I thought it could probably not look good for flowers to arrive with no card, might cause some dramas for them, lol.

I'd give them to my neighbor, or a friend.

I wouldn't keep them & I'd want them out of my house asap. If that ment giving them to a stranger so be it.

I wouldn't bin them/such a waste, but I wouldn't want to look at them either.

On second thoughts, binning them would probably feel pretty good

I would pass them on. I would feel bad for the flowers if they were binned as they didn't do anything. But I would gift them on. They will brighten someone else day and you get to have them out of your house.

Honestly? I would send them back to your dad, even of it meant expense on my part. I know part of your history with them and I would die inside if they thought I'd kept them and accepted them - even if they were thrown or passed on!

I had half a mind to get the kids in the car, drive the hour up and throw them on their driveway and drive off.
DF and I spoke about their intent in doing this, and we believe it most likely is a way to get me to contact them, whether it be in a positive or negative way. We decided to ignore this, and carry on like it doesn't affect us (coz it doesn't!).
However it is DD2s birthday on Thursday and I am half expecting another gift to arrive for her, IF that happens I will be doing something drastic, finally.
