Yes, I got the results on Tuesday (4 wk, 4d) and hcg levels were 521. GP was happy with that and referred me to the Mater Mothers (Brisbane).

Fantastic. Must be nice to have it all official

I am in Adelaide, long way from brissy. My DH met in Cairns, so Qld in general is a special place for us.

Is this your first baby?

Went to the docs today. She said I didn't need a blood test. a positive is a positive. Said I only need bloods done if I started spotting. I checked three times with her. Swear she thought I was crazy. Is sending me for a dating scan in 2 weeks (though I'm sure I'm 5 weeks)- then bloods at 12 weeks and us around same time.
Definitely feels more real now!

Thats strange as with both my pregnancies they did a blood test yo test the hcg levels as well as ur immunity to some serious diseases

I thought so too. She said test for immunity to some diseases would be done at 12 weeks. She dismissed me when I challenged her.

Are you on an iPhone? If you are go to more which is on the bottom right and then profile. Then click on change profile photo. I hope that helps.

S12- I only had bloods done at 12 weeks with my first pregnancy. Had them at 4 weeks this time. (diff doc) And no dating scans even though I only ever a rough guide of LMP. (Pregnancies seem to be a surprise for me). Hoping I get to see bub at my OB appt in a few weeks!
