Clothes hangers have to be hooked over the rail with the 'open' side of the hook facing in. And the clothes *must* be facing to the left. My sister is exactly the same except her clothes must be facing to the right. Its a big bone of contention between us lol

I count things etc steps or time it takes for lights to go green.

Not real keen on odd numbers. Unless it is a count of time in which case that is ok.

My tea must be made a certain way. I cannot put in the sugar before the teabag is removed.

Since aged 8 I seek out long words and find myself seperating the letters into two or three groups. My dh says my brain is on overdrive it certainly helped whilst writing essays.

as a pp said, think 'sleeping with the enemy'.
pantry, loo paper, symmetry, i have a way of doing everything and it has to be just right. if hubby messes things up, i just wait till he has gone to bed and fix it up

Oh another one, I can't see a number plate without trying to make a word out if the three letters. my brain mostly comes up with rude words first, unless the letters U & Q are on the plate, then for some reason I have to think of 'union of Queensland [insert profession here]. Drives me mental, I haven't even been to Queensland in 8 years! You wouldn't believe how many number plates have U & Q on them *aargh*. its really distracting lol

I use my pointer finger to discretely trace letters in the air of words or sentences going through my head.
I try to anticipate how many steps it will take to reach a point in the distance, then count them outloud if I am alone.
Not so much anymore, but when I was younger I used to force myself to do random things because if I didn't there would be terrible consequences. Like if I had a split second thought that I had to speak gibberish for 1 minute or walk down the up escalator otherwise someone would die, I would have to do it. But the more I tried not to think about stuff like that, the more I did naturally lol

I do this! I even break chewing gum exactly in half and chew one half on eat side so neither side of my mouth chews more! :/

I have a lot of strange tendencies that are worse when I'm stressed.

I hate it when people walk on my left hand side. My friends and family all know to walk on the right!

Same here. Tea bag must be out before milk or sugar is added.

My other one is that I always walk on the left if I'm walking with one other person. I'll actually ask people to switch sides if I'm on the right. My mum is the same but walks on the right. Which is lucky because otherwise things could be very awkward every time we walked anywhere together!
