Default Has Anyone Heard of Mildly Delayed Myelination

    Hi There,

My DS has feeding problems - Tube Feed, Developmental Delays cannot walk or talk lots of babble, Reflux, Obstructive Sleep Apnoea was diagnosed with Noonan Syndrome but since then the Geneticist does not think that DS has Noonan Syndrome anymore and thinks DS has something Neurological going on and has referred us on to a Neurologist. DS has a MRI a few weeks ago and it revealed that he has Non Specific Mildly Delayed Myelination. The Neurologist wants to look at the MRI and present DS's case at a meeting of Pead & Genetic Radiologists.

    Looking forward to any replies.

    Kim

I have never heard of it before until now. I had to google it to find out what it was. Seems to be a fair bit of uncertainty out there for parents with diagnosed children

BubHub is usually a great source of info, so I hope you can get some replies of parents who have a child with a similar condition.

    Goodluck hun
