    Default Great books for babies/toddlers

DS 81/2 months and loves having books read to him. Especially loves books with lots of rhyming.

Some we love include Lynley Dodd's Hairy Maclary series as well as Sandra Boynton's board books.

Would love to hear some recommendations from all of you.

Looking to increase our little library

DS is 15mo and loves books as well. He likes to "read" anything himself but likes us to read him:

    Slinky Malinky
    Fish Don't Play Ball
    Spot Loves His Mum/Dad
Postman Pat (think there must be a series but we have Ted Glen's Surprise).
    That's Not My Dinosaur/Monster/Train/Plane/Puppy/Penguin/Pony etc
    Spots First Words/Numbers

He doesn't mind us reading the longer Little Golden Books in the background e.g. The Poky Little Puppy, Scuffy the Tugboat

Both were sent to us from the uk, but I'm sure you could get them on line. Sharing a shell is lovely and so colourful.
