    Default 4mth old sleep issue!!

I need some advice on how to get my 4 mth old DS to go to sleep at the end of the day! He will go to sleep in our arms then when we put in him the cot wakes up screaming and it can take up to 2 hrs to settle and usually it's in our arms again and he's totally exhausted so stays asleep.
Does anyone have any tips or advice to get him to stay asleep?

DS used to do that. I usually wait until hes in deep sleep before moving him to bed. We also would pat him to sleep on our bed with me lying beside him, so hes not in my arms, then when hes in deep sleep, usually 15 minutes after he falls asleep I would move him to his cot.

I would recommend a bedtime routine if you don't already have one so he knows its nearly bedtime.

Ours for 4 month old DD is bath, massage and nudie time, pj's, feed, lullaby and then bed. The tv is off and lights are dim so it is relaxing. We do the same thing every night around the same time so she knows it is bedtime. It made putting her down a lot easier.
