Does anyone live in Dubbo or know about it and can tell me what it's like?

Is it a nice place to live? Good resources?

I want the good and the not so good things!!!

    Thanks!

I'd love to tell you something but I only ever flew in and out in 24 hours. The hospitals are great. Most surgeons are from Sydney and fly in weekly. The taxi drivers were lovely, theyd give me their mobile number to call them direct. The zoo is great. And the hotels / motels run at the states highest occupancy rates. Sorry I'm not much help. But it is a nice place.

I live not far from there and it is great for shopping etc. We often go there for medical apps too. My sister in law lived there for a while and I believe its a good place to live.

I have a friend who lives there. Supposedly the west end isn't great, but the rest is quite nice. It gets VERY hot and dry in summer though, so I recommend looking for a place with air conditioning.

    Hth!
