Default Do you try samples with no intention to buy? *fluff*

    Just curious

There were some free chocolate samples at the shops today. Mum & DD got stuck in. Mum offered & I refused. She was a little shocked lol (I like chocolate) I told her I had no intention in buying any today so why would I sample it? She said 'because it's free'

I understand it's 'free', but I don't know, I never sample anything unless I'm 'in the market' (eg at the bakery trying to decided on a sweet bread & trying the new one the counter to help decide)

So do you? Eat it just because it's free with not intention to buy it? And if yes, how often do you actually go on to purchase it?

We could've had our whole lunch just eatting samples today , there were SO many around.

My exception is those hand cream samples (and the sales staff jumping on passes by to 'try') I have occasionally gone 'yes please my hands are a bit dry.. But I already bought some the other week' (which I had)

I let my kids, yep sure...but I never do because I don't eat alot of the stuff (meat, bread, etc) that is normally offered as samples. Sometimes we buy, sometimes I just let them because they want to. I don't think it's one of lifes most pressing issues

I'll try it to see what it's like. Even if I have no intention of buying it that day, I may decide to get it in the future if it's something I like.

    yes.

Just because I don't buy that day, does not mean I will not buy in the future if i like the product!
