    DS is making me super proud at the moment. We have just started homeschooling so I am doing some "testing" to figure out where he is up to. At his insistence, I let him try a Year 5 Naplan Maths test....he got all but 1 question correct I was stunned...as he is in Year 2. He also got tested for his reading level and is reading at a 13 year old level when he is 8.

    Now...if i can just get him to write neatly, we'll be set!

    DD stunned us all yesterday when she counted to 12!!! She is 22 months! Also, she has slept through the night a few times in the last few weeks...only if daddy does bedtime though ...so guess who is off bedtime duty

    My ds who's 4 was upset thinking we hadn't bought nanna a birthday present saying it wasn't fair she wouldn't get anything. He was delighted when I explained and showed him a pic of the flowers and teddy bear we had sent her from the internet.

    His mid year kindy report made us proud

    I'm so in love with absolutely every tiny thing 2yo DD does so bare with me

    I'm proud when;
    She puts her dishes in the sink
    Says pls/thank you
    Puts her shoes on the right feet
    Strips butt naked all on her own
    Drinks folsom a cup without spilling
    Sings ABCs
    Counts correctly
    Wipes up her mess without being asked

    I could go on but you get the gist

    OH and those sloppy finger paintings mesmerize me

    Prep age DD has started on Grade 3-4 books this term.

    However, I'm far more proud that she picked up an elderly lady's dropped wallet in Safeway yesterday.

    I wouldn't care if she was light years behind the rest of her class; but helping a stranger in need without being asked to is worth all the gold and diamonds in the world to me.
