We love curash. DS had a very bad nappy rash once and we made sure that retiring we put on a nappy his bumb is very dry. We would use water to clean his bumb after every change and also try not to put on so many layers around his bottom so the skin can breath. Good luck

I was using paw paw on dd but found it kept the rash area too moist. Grabbed a jar of sudocream at woolies just to "give it a try" and I won't be going back!!

Another vote for Sudocream here - and lots of nappy free time. Because the cream repels water/ moisture I make sure I clean DS's bum with a warm wash cloth and give him nappy free time first to let everything dry out, then lots of cream on the sore spots.

My daughter has just gotten over some serious nappy rash, I tried Desiten, Amolin, Bepanthen, Sudocrem, Paw Paw, Cornflour and Nappy free time, nothing worked until I tried Daktozin. Her rash had a spotty appearance, so I needed the anti-fungal properties in the Daktozin... It started to clear up within 24 hours, and was gone within 48 hours, and she had had it for nearly 2 weeks previous.

Desitin was what worked for my DS1 due to the high % of zinc oxide in it but after 6-7 years, there could be better creams in the market.
