Haha Eko, I said that about having a girl too, that I won't be the princess in the house anymore

I tried going dress shopping to get myself excited, and found that i don't like much of the stuff out there for little girls. Here I was thinking there's not much for boys when it turns out I'm just super picky

I still don't like telling people, I told my workmates and playgroup mums this week. I guess I'll feel better about it once everyone stops raving about how great it is. I'm getting there, though.

Haha don't get too carried away- DP doesn't have nearly the good taste in girl's names that i do. He has already vetoed Dulcie, Heather and Elsa.

Just an aside: my MIL said to me in the early days when I said that I only wanted/expected to have boys that "daughters you have for life, sons you have til they take a wife". Any help? Nah. Didn't think so.

I couldn't read your post and not reply.
I feel sad for you. I thought I would be happy with a son and I feel bad but I have had him and I so favor my DD (opposite situation to yours)
I hope that things start to get better for you really soon.
