    Default Advice needed re ftb

I overestimated my income for the last year and I am getting an arrears payment this week which adds up to what I overestimated. So the question is will I still get the supps of 700 and 300 as hubby and I are both on pensions and advised online of non lodgement of tax return. Anyone know

Form memory the arrears payment and FTB supplement are listed separately on the website, have you tried clicking the drop down arrow in the payments section to see the break down?

I always thought that arrears is money your owed over the year from overestimating.
The Supplements I thought you have every year whether you have arrears or not.

I overestimated this year also. I spoke to a woman at centrelink yesterday and she told me that my debt will be taken out of those payments and I will get what is left over. I overestimated about $3500 and she said I will have a debt of about $1200... so bummed.

It usually says Arrears Payment of Family tax Benefit Part A Supplement for the actual Supplements which is the $700 odd per child for part A. (Same for Part B for the $300 odd per family)

Then it should say Arrears Payment of Family Tax Benefit Part A for the reconciliation (same for B)

Both the reconciliation amount (Arrears Payment) and the Supplements (Arrears Payment Supplement) should come together. Plus I have always got them with my normal FTB payments as well.

If you did actually overestimate your income then you wont have a debt. You should get a reconciliation payment plus the supplements.
