I took pregnancy multivitamins early in the pregnancy and stopped around 12 weeks, although my diet is very healthy with a large variety of foods I began to have leg cramps so I started the pregnancy vitamins again for the magnesium in them which worked at easing them, later although I have an iron rich diet I still developed an iron deficiency so now I take a combination of iron and vitamin c aswell, you just can't tell what your body is going to need during pregnancy regardless of how much variety their is in your diet.
