    Default Alternatives to vegemite sandwich/toast

Hi looking for some ideas for first sandwiches and toast for my baby - don't want to give her vegemite because I'm allergic to it. Thanks!

Tahini, ricotta, goats cheese, banana, almond or macadamia butter, scrambled egg ( just mush it on!) and avocado is the best!

DS loves cream cheese and many of the things pp's have already suggested. Toast pizza is also becoming a hot favourite.

Thanks for all the great suggestions! Does anyone know what age is safe to introduce nuts?? I eat the natural peanut butter all the time and she is often trying to grab it off me!

Nuts are fine anytime after 6 months ( as long as no history of allergies) just make sure you get organic or the 100% peanuts (not Kraft as they add salt and fat)
Macadamia nut butter is our fav plus don't be scared to try almond or cashew butter as well!
