How effective is the rotavirus vaccine? We went to a birthday party yesterday where ds, 6 months, was passed around like a freakin parcel (but thats a whole other vent) and I have just seen on fb that one of the families that was playing with him now has gastro!
So just wondering how well the rotavirus vax works.

Rotavirus vaccination is considered quite effective against that particular type of gastro bug. But unfortunately there are so many different types of gastro that children can get. Fingers crossed bubs will be ok x

Rotavirus vax can help lessen the severity too. I hope he doesnt get it!
