EBM Donations needed.

A dear friend of mine and former active member here is in need of EBM for her 7 month old baby.

She has lost some regular donors lately and her stash is beginning to dwindle. If anyone has EBM in their freezer that they are not needing and are looking to donate, or willing to become a regular or occasional donor please contact me and I can put you in touch with brogey.

Brogey has insufficient glandular tissue, this means that she does not produce enough breastmilk for little Junipah. Junipah has been fed exclusively (except for a few solids) on at the breast on EBM (through a supply line) since she was 2 days old, getting as much of mum's milk as possible (we estimate about 100ml a day). Her EBM requirements are currently 600-700ml a day.

Brogey is passionate about breastfeeding and aims to have J on breastmilk until 12 months, hopefully longer.

If you think you could help them out, or know someone who might please pass on these details. Brogey and her husband are happy to do milk pickups anywhere in brisbane, sunshine coast and goldcoast.

Hi, check out 'human milk for human babies' on Facebook for your state, if you post your friend's story on the wall you will get responses. I am a member in my state (wa) and there are always more donors than recipients
