    Default Male cleaners?

Disclaimer: before reading on it is not my intent to be judgmental or sexist but genuine intrigue on what others have experienced. No offense or harm intended to anyone.

I recently won a voucher for a cleaner woohoo! i rang the company and got someone out to go through the jobs to be done.

A guy came out and when i asked who would they send to clean, he said he would be.

Now as nice as it is to get a free clean of the house, i am not sure on whether the work will be any good (just going by my husbands standard of cleaning, he just doesn't see the dirt) and thinking of canceling it.

Curious as to what experiences have you had with male cleaners ?

I have seen plenty of rubbish female cleaners so gender really is irrelevant.

Most carpet cleaning, window cleaning, office cleaning, and garden maintenance companies are run by males so there is no reason to think that they would not be able to clean a house properly.

Oh you are so right, i have never had a cleaner before so how narrow minded of me to think that all females are good cleaners

    Looking forward to this now.

i reckon its irrelevant. My DP cleans better than most women (irritatingly so), the kitchen is so clean there is not a speck of anything anywhere on any surface. The floors literally are clean enough to eat off. So a man could do just as good a job i think. The only way you'd know is to give him a whirl.

Irrelevant. I've had plenty of rubbish female cleaners in my time

I think it's a bit like asking if women can be any good at mowing lawns.

My dh is a great cleaner of our house - much better than me! Plenty of commercial cleaners are men, but I suppose that most domestic cleaners are women, hence the perception that 'home cleaners' are female. I think the gender is irrelevant. Yeah for having a cleaner - hope you get the lovely clean house that you want

I have a male cleaner. He is amazing!!! He cleans the house so well and does a much better job than the many female cleaners I had before him.

Enjoy! I won a cleaner once and a woman came by, it was very disappointing.
