    Default Greenslopes Maternity !

    Hi there,

I'm thinking of having another bub next year. Have heard Greenslopes are opening maternity in 2013. I went to Sunnybank previously but I've heard Neil Astill is retiring at Sunnybank.

Anyone know anything about this ?

I went for a pre pregnancy check today with my OB from sunnybank and he advised it was happening from march 2013. Just went on the website and it looks really nice and will cater for bubs born from 32 weeks

Neil Astill was my obgyn - my baby was born in Jan 2012. He did an amazing job on my cesarian. We really loved him (and Sunnybank Hospital) and I actually asked him at the 6 week post birth check up if he planned to retire soon (since he is a little bit on the older side of things) and he said no. We discussed the new maternity ward opening at Greenslopes and he said that Brad Armstrong and Heng Tang were moving there after it opened. I have heard great things about them too. Sadly, we are moving to Townsville so we will need to find a new obgyn for the next one. I really wanted to go back to Neil and Sunnybank.
