    Default Spotting

I'm in early pregnancy - between 5-6 weeks. Before u knew I was pregnant ( I only found out Wednesday) I've been getting spotting every day.
Is this normal or is something wrong?

Brown is usually a good sign. Old blood. Bright red is not so good but still doesn't always mean bad news

I had bright red at 6 weeks, brown at 10. I'm now nearly 14 weeks. Spotting is not normal but it is common.

I had spotting which started red and went to brown for about 3 days, mostly when I wiped at about 5 1/2 weeks. I'm now just over 21 weeks. When I had my first scan they could see where the in the uterus the bleeding had come from and said that where the attchment occurs can cause some blood vessels to break. Hope all works out for you!

I had brown spotting and once a red bleed on and off for the first half of my pregnancy and i freaked out but each scan showed a healthy happy bub. It turned out that a pool of blood formed under the placenta when it attached and was nothing to worry about. There are many reasons for spotting in early pregnancy not all of them are bad.

jto; with my first pregnancy (he is now 18 month) I had pink spotting for 2 days around 5 week mark and then brown spotting one day around 7 week mark.
I am now 5 weeks pregnant again, and I had spotting for 6 days in a row from just before 4 weeks. Got high numbers, done 4 bloodtest already, looking good so far. It freaked me out as it was heaps more than with my first, doing last bt tomorrow morning (21 dpo tomorrow)
I had 2 days of pink spotting and the rest brown spotting. I sure hope for one sticky bubba as I managed to fall pregnant naturally after years of infertility and 6 ivf's....
I reckon it is normal for some women..have you done blood test at all to check your Beta number? If not, go to your gp and ask for one and they will let you know if the numbers sounds good....
    Wishing you all the best....
