    Default Endometrium biopsy scraping

    Hi girls!

My fs has just come back from a conference in Europe, the new controversial thing is to have a 'clean out' before a cycle..

My fs says its done in his office.. And quick.. Maybe painful..

Has anyone had this done or had a bfp from it?

How are you hun?? It has been a while!

Yeh I had a lap done last year.. He says that it has a great effect just before jabbing... Bit worried about pain, as they may need to dilate my cervix? Eek! Guess labours 100 times worse! Haha

I had it done prior to the FET that got cancelled so i went through it but didn't reap the benefits

It is painfull. My FS said it would be slightly uncomfortable ... which was a serious understatement!!!

I felt ill which they say is because they are touching your cervix but then it is like shocking waves of period pain every time that they rip a bit off. Afterwards though i was fine and it only took about 10 minutes max.

If it makes you feel better, i have requested to go through it again to see if we can get it in line with a transfer. It isn't so bad that i'm not willing to do it again!!!

    Good luck

    Oh.dear.... Now I'm worried.. Haha.

I think if dh was there with me i would feel a little more comfortable.. Not only that it's a completely new fs that's doing it.. I'm in cq and going back to the gold coast for EPU. But can't afford to take days off for that procedure and then fly back down again 2 weeks later for EPU..

Far out.. So tell me more? Did u take anything? Can I take Valium?? Haha

Good luck! You'll be fine though

For my next one i had planned to take some pain killers before I went in so there was some kind of numbing for the procedure.

this is the little difference that makes it work
