Default What do your kids do when they wake up?

DS has just gone into a toddler bed and we were curious to see what he would do in the mornings. Turns out he creeps up to our room and peeks through the door. If i don't stir he goes into the lounge, turns the light on and starts playing. If i stir he comes up and lays his head next to mine and strokes my face then he crawls onto the bed and over me to wake up DP. Super cute!

That is cute! My daughter plays, reads, does craft, paints the cat, glues tinsel to the dog... Needless to say, I get up when she does to save the animals.

My boys won't leave the bedroom until I get up so they jump on me until I crumble and drag myself out from under the covers. When they first wake up we snuggle though which is really nice as long as they don't fidget!

My kids watch cartoons, play, read and raid the cupboards and fridge for any naughty foods to polish off before I can drag myself out there

Generally they play in there rooms for a bit. I can hear them both farting. Then they'll eventually come in either requesting food, or help to wipe their bums....

That's how I imagined life with a 9yo. Sadly last time I had a 4 minute shower alone during waking hours I came out to find the dog had been turned pink and green.
