    Default Preconception appointment

Hi ladies, I had a preconception visit to my Dr yesterday and a blood test today to check my immunity to rubella etc. Just wondering if anyone had the same and how long it took to get the results or is it a 'no news is good news' situation? My doctor advised me to wait until we get the results to start trying so I can be vaccinated if needed. The next available appointment for my doctor is in 3 weeks time so I have booked that in anyway. Thanks

I had all these tests before I started TTC and basically was told no news is good news. But I always phone them and ask for results just to make sure :-)

Usually the only call you if they need to see you xoxo

Yep, I was told no news is good news! I was fine, and just had to get my whooping cough vaccination.

    Exciting times!

They should take a few days - a week to come back. Ring your gp next week they might not give you results over the phone. I'd get them next week just in case you need to get boosters or something

My dr sent me a text message a few days later telling me I needed to get measles, mumps, rubella needle again. When I had it done I was told to wait 3 months before ttc.
